Mid Term Exams Schedule: Grades 9 – 12

Tuesday, January 20th
Full day of School for Grades 9-12
Blocks C, D, B, F will meet and lunch will be served. No WIN.
12:30 – 2:05 p.m. Block G Exam

Wednesday, January 21st
7:25 – 9:00 a.m. Block D Exam
9:15 – 10:45 a.m. Block E Exam

Thursday, January 22nd
7:25 – 9:00 a.m. Block C Exam

  • Tuesday, January 20th will be a full day of school with the Block G exam ending at 2:05 p.m.
  • Wednesday, January 21st through Friday, January 23rd will be half days for students in grades 9-12 only. One North Bus and one South Bus will be available at 10:45 HS dismissal Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

All appointments should be scheduled during non-school time, whenever possible. However, when it is unavoidable that a student be dismissed, parents submit plans for changes for their student by accessing the Pick Up Patrol app through their smartphone or computer.


STUDENT DROP OFF PROCESS
Student Drop-Off begins at 7:10 a.m. at the Main Entrance, Door #1. Students who arrive to homeroom after the 7:25 a.m. bell will be marked tardy. Please pull forward as far as possible along the front of the building in order to alleviate traffic on South Meadow Road. Students are dismissed at 2:05 p.m. If you arrive to pick-up your student prior to the 2:05 p.m. dismissal bell, please park in the parking lot by the football field/high school gym and your student will meet you in the parking lot. Parking will not be allowed in the main driveway and/or in front of the main entrance. All parents will exit onto South Meadow Road, as the Pond Street exit is used for buses and student drivers.


DISMISSAL PROCESS

If unable to do this, a parent/guardian can send an email to mhsdismissals@carver.orgStudents who are not feeling well should be reporting to the nurse and dismissed through our nurses office at door #3. If a student is returning to school after being dismissed they should be checking back in with the main office and providing the proper paperwork to excuse their dismissal.


TARDY TO SCHOOL
A student will be considered tardy to school if they arrive in the building and/or homeroom after 7:25 A.M. Administration will monitor student tardy issues on a regular basisAn additional office detention will be issued for every subsequent fifth tardy during the same term. Excused tardiness is limited to documented medical appointments.


STUDENT PARKING
Student Parking Passes can now be purchased through MySchoolBucks for $50.

Instructions:

  1. Login to MySchoolBucks.com
  2. Select the School Store Shopping Cart icon
  3. At the top right-hand side of the screen click ¨School Store¨ tab and select ¨Browse All Items¨
  4. Click ¨View Details¨ on the Parking icon
  5. Select your student
  6. Click ¨Add to Basket¨
  7. Click the ¨Cart¨ icon in the right corner
  8. Fill out payment information and click ¨Continue¨, then ¨Place Order¨
  9. Print and/or screen shot a copy of the information page for your records

Students must bring proof of purchase and vehicle registration information to Mrs. Doyle in the main office in order to receive their pass. They will be assigned a numbered spot for the school year and will be able to pick their spot on a first come first serve basis.

Parking passes will be available in the Main Office prior to school opening for pick up during the following times August 18-19 and August 25-26 from 10:00a-12:00p

*Starting Monday, 9/22 all student vehicles must display a valid parking pass or their privileges will be revoked.

Carver Middle High School Attendance Letter 2025-26

  • What do I do if my student is staying home from school?
    All absences should be reported to the school by emailing mhsabsent@carver.org.  Please include the student’s full name, grade, and brief reason for the absence. For an illness-related absence to be excused, a note signed by a medical provider must be sent to the school nurse. Notes may be emailed to the above address or sent in with the student when they return to school. Medical providers may fax school nurses directly through our confidential Health Office Fax: 508-866-2922. Please see the Middle and/or High School Handbook for the complete attendance policy

ADD/DROP PERIOD FOR GRADES 9-12
The last day for high school students to add/drop full-year and semester 1 classes is Friday, September 5th. If a student needs to change a class, after schedules are released in Aspen on August 18th, they need to complete the Schedule Change Request Form(Link will be made active after the 18th)


SAT REGISTRATION
Seniors have the opportunity to take the SAT one last time this fall at Carver Middle High School on Wednesday, October 8th, during the school day. The exam costs $68, payable by cash or check made out to Carver Middle High School. Payments will be collected in the fall.

Students must register by Friday, September 12th using the form below and payment is due to the guidance office by Wednesday, October 1st. Please note that the SAT is not required for admission to two-year colleges or trade schools.

Students who are applying Early Action or want their scores sooner can instead register directly on the College Board website for an earlier September test date at a different testing location.


PSAT RREGISTRATION:
Juniors are encouraged to take the PSAT this fall, a practice test that helps prepare for college entrance exams. Look for more information and the registration link at the start of school.

Transportation requests for 2025-2026 school year:

In order to ensure transportation for your child/ren, you will need to submit the form as soon as possible to Maureen Siedentopf, Director of Transportation. You can print or take clear pictures of the form and send it over via email to siedentopfm@carver.org or mailed to Carver Public Schools at 3 Carver Square Blvd., Carver, MA 02330.

As a reminder, students can only be assigned one bus route in the AM and one bus route in the PM.
