School Choice
2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR
At the April 24, 2023 School Committee meeting, a motion was made and approved to participate in School Choice enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year.
There will be 5 new seats available in each grade level for students in the following grade levels:
Kindergarten, 9, 10, 11, 12

ABOUT SCHOOL CHOICE
Our school choice program is approved by the school committee annually and the available seats and grade levels for the following school year are proposed and voted on in the spring at the School Committee meeting. Once approved, the information and application for the following school year will be posted here on our website.
Approval to attend school in Carver via school choice is a one time process and students are then considered Carver students until their graduation or withdrawn from the school system. Often times we are able to accommodate the siblings of a school choice student and that request can be made with the school choice application and submitted to the Superintendent of Schools.
In order for a family to apply, simply fill out the application found here on our website for the appropriate school year. The application deadline will be at the beginning of June with a lottery to be held following the application deadline should there be more interest than slots available.
Please note: In regards to transportation, school choice students are not provided transportation unless they are getting on and off the bus at an existing bus stop in Carver each day. This is generally a case by case basis and you could inquire with our transportation department following the School Choice application approval if needed.
