Carver Cares
Meet the DFC Grant Director:
In 2022, Carver received funding from the White House to support the Carver Cares Coalition in meeting the following goals:
- Increase Community Collaboration
- Reduce Youth Substance Use
As a paid staff member of the coalition with this grant funding (hired 10/23/23), I have been working to support the coalition in it’s mission to meet these goals by:
- Developing relationships
- Providing information
- Increasing Awareness about Resources
- Assessing for Needs
My favorite part of this “job” is meeting new people (of all ages!) and welcoming their voices to the coalition, because everyone deserves a seat at the table!
Carver Cares Remembrance by Candlelight
Carver Cares is hosting an Evening of Remembrance at the Carver Public Library on Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 5-7pm.
We are gathering at 5pm at the Library with local providers who will have resource tables and information to share.
At 6pm, the coalition will lead a Candlelight Vigil to Honor and Remember our loved ones who we have lost to overdose.
All are welcome to attend. For more information please contact Carver Cares at Carvercares@gmail.com
