Molly O’Connor – September 2022
The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) Student-Athlete of the Month Award is presented on a monthly basis to two student-athletes in the state who display excellence in the areas of academics, athletics and community service. Each recipient will be eligible for the Harry Agganis Student-Athlete of the Year Scholarship provided on behalf of the Agganis family. That award is announced at the end of the year.

Kudos to the Middle School Student Government who continues their initiative to raise funds for a number of worth causes including their recent donations of $200 to the Shane McColgan Foundation and $200 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Their next community service initiative is raising funds to support the American Heart Association in February.

Thursday May 18th members of Student Council and the POST Program collaborated together to participate in an annual leadership summit partnered with Silver Lake HS and Whitman Hanson HS. The kids had a great time (as in past years) making new friendships, understanding how to collaborate with different people while talking about and using leadership skills to solve problems and develop their own toolbox of skills.
