School is a sacred place where learning has its foundation in the relationships developed between students and teachers. We believe it is important for our community to recognize the need to represent all populations in a school district and to understand the value of building diverse teams that reflect the communities they serve.

School districts from Southeastern Massachusetts will have the opportunity to meet a pool of candidates from diverse backgrounds, cultures and languages, collect résumés, and position themselves to find the right fit for their districts connecting educators from diverse backgrounds with school districts looking to build inclusive teaching teams.

The goal of this career fair is to provide people of color, english language learners, LGBTQ+ community, veterans, and the differently-abled with more opportunities to connect with schools that are actively seeking to diversify their staff; provide more comprehensive information about the schools and positions available, allowing candidates to make more informed decisions about their job search, and feel more motivated to attend the career fair because they know that the schools represented are committed to diversity and equity and feel more confident in their abilities to make a positive impact in the school community.

We welcome all job seekers to come out to visit with representatives from schools on the south shore to find their fit in education!

14th Annual Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet
April 8, 2024

On Monday, April 8, 2024, Principal Christine Cabral and Athletic Director Christopher Carbone had the distinct honor to celebrate our 2024 Scholar Athletes, Corin Clougherty and Robert Peterson at the South Shore League Scholar Athlete Awards Banquet at Southers Marsh Golf Club in Plymouth.

The twenty two student-athletes who were honored have been selected to represent the top student athletes in the South Shore League based on academics, athletic participation, sportsmanship, leadership and citizenship. They have all successfully balanced a demanding academic schedule with participation in athletics and extracurricular activities.

“These student-athletes have served as an example for others and are extremely deserving of this recognition,” said Athletic Director Chris Carbone. “I am looking forward to each student’s future success and accomplishments both on and off the field.”

Corin Clougherty plans to attend a 4 year university and study Art History and English Literature and then complete a PhD in Art History. Robert Peterson will be attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute majoring in Biomedical/Bioengineering. Congratulations Corin Clougherty and Robert Peterson! The Healey-Driscoll Administration along with Secretary of Education Patrick Tutwiler visited Carver Middle High School on Wednesday, April 3, where they visited Carver Innovation Pathways classrooms and announced the awarding of new Innovation Career Pathway designations to 36 high schools, of which 22 are new to the program.     “I was thrilled to see first-hand how students are exploring different career paths in high-demand industries like manufacturing at Carver Middle High School today. We’re excited that students here and at four other schools will have the opportunity to explore our Clean Energy Pathway next school year,” said Governor Maura Healey. “We want to ensure that what students learn in school helps them get where they want to go, while also meeting our workforce needs. That’s why we are continuing investments in transformational programs like Innovation Career Pathways with our FY25 budget.”
