Kindergarten Registration will be held in the upcoming months. Only children who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2019, are eligible to enroll. AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES CANCELLED TODAY
All after school activities in Carver Public Schools will be cancelled today, 2/12/2019 due to the impending weather. Students will be dismissed at their regular time. Thank you.

Join us at the Middle High School as the Athletic Booster Club once again hosts Bingo Night! Thursday, February 7th in the Middle High School cafeteria starting at 6 pm.
Bingo cards and pizza are only $1! Come show your support for the Crusaders and possibly win some great prizes!

Join us at the Elementary School on Friday, February 8th for FREE Family Movie Night at 6:30 pm in the CES Multi Purpose Room. Bring your family, friends and enjoy! Concessions will be available for purchase to help raise funds for the Elementary school running/walking trail!

Raising Digital Natives: What’s New?

It can be daunting being a parent in these digitally-driven times, here our kids were born natives and as parents, we’re desperately trying to keep up. Katie Greer, a nationally-recognized digital safety expert, will update parents on the latest tech trends, safety issues, and tips on how to help our kids have a productive, healthy relationship with technology. Katie will be speaking to CES students as well as the middle and high school students during the school day on Monday, 2/4/19.
There will be an evening presentation for parents only on Monday, 2/4/19 at 6:30 pm at Carver Elementary School. Childcare will be available.

Available 2018-19 Preschool Role Models
The Carver Public Schools’ Preschool Program, located at the Carver Elementary School, is currently scheduling appointments for screenings for role model slots in our new preschool classroom for the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year. This is a morning program that will meet Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:15-10:45.
Screenings will be held by appointment only on Friday, January 4 and Friday, January 11, 2019.
A screening is required for acceptance into the program. Children considered are those who do not currently receive special education services and are not in need of special education services. Applicants are expected to demonstrate age appropriate skills (within 6 months) in the areas of speech and language, cognitive/school readiness, fine and gross motor development, and social/emotional and behavioral development. In addition, a child must be at least 3 years of age by September 1, 2018 and toilet trained. They must also be a resident of Carver and families must provide transportation to and from the program. Those children found eligible will be entered into a lottery. Appropriate role model students who are not selected in the lottery will be placed on a waiting list. Please note that slots are limited.
This program for role model students is a fee based program. Each half day session is $12.00.
