Energy Efficient Light Bulbs sponsored by the Environmental Club
Lighting accounts for about 20% of the electric bill in the average U.S. home. Switch to ENERGY STAR certified light emitting diode (LED) bulbs and save. They provide the same amount of brightness as standard bulbs and use less energy. Each incandescent bulb you replace with an ENERGY STAR certified light bulb will save you about $10 in energy costs each year. The Environment Club is selling LED bulbs and other energy saving devices through Eversource. All orders must be placed on-line and any purchases will be mailed directly to you. Please fill in the school name – Carver MHS and seller’s name (your child) on the form by April 13th. https://techniartordersite.com/eversource/ Thank you for your support!Chick-Fil-A Fundraiser sponsored by the Sophomore Class

The Carver Athletic Boosters have come up with a new fundraiser to support our student athletes in light of the COVID-related inability to run our traditional fundraisers. It’s called the “Prize Calendar” fundraiser. A prize winner will be drawn daily the entire month of December. Prizes each day range in value from $50 to $150 (totaling over $2000 worth of prizes to be won) and include many great restaurants such as Alden Park, retail/online shopping gift cards, Mirabeau Spa, and much more (see Calendar below for a complete look at prizes and details). The cost per calendar is $20 and we have limited the number of calendars available for purchase to 300. Additionally to improve your chances of winning, winners automatically go back into the drawing for a chance to be drawn again! We can accept checks, cash or Venmo. The Crusader Athletic Boosters are excited about the potential success of this fundraiser and hope you will consider being a part of that…and hopefully win a nice prize…or two…or three… Roger Tait Carver Athletic Boosters Vice President
