Deletion of Student Drive Accounts
As we make important technology changes students should please note the following:
On Monday, June 20th – all student drive accounts (@drive.carver.org) and anything stored in them – including gmail will be permanently deleted. Students should make every effort to save any documents or presentations needed on a external device (flash drive) before that time.
Once accounts are deleted items cannot be restored.

Vacancy on Recreation Committee
Carver School Committee announces a vacancy on the RECREATION COMMITTEE for the 2016-2017 school year. The School Committee has two appointments on an annual basis to this Committee to join other members appointed by the Selectmen/Town Administrator. Interested persons should submit a letter of interest to:

SCHOOL CHOICE Approved for 2016-2017
At the May 9, 2016 meeting, the Carver School Committee voted unanimously to approve School Choice for 2016-2017 for 12 “seats” for incoming Kindergarten Students. A lottery will be held on Thursday, June 16th to select the students.

Calendar Update for 2016-2017
For your planning purposes…..Please note the 2016-2017 previously approved calendar has been revised with the following. Elementary School Early Release day in March 2017 has been changed from Wednesday 3/15 to Thursday, 3/16/2017.

Drug Story Theater
MONDAY, MARCH 28 7p – 9p
This performance is called “the Price You Pay” and is a powerful show well worth seeing – students, parents and educators alike. We invite you to attend, and if you have middle or high school aged children at home, feel free to bring them.
Drug Story Theater is coming to us at NO cost due to a grant they received. They were able to choose us as recipients of this free performance due to our long standing relationship with the Youth Health connection at South Shore Hospital and the South Shore FACTS organization. It really is a privilege that they are coming here, over numerous communities. High School students can attend without a parent present.

Middleboro’s new substance abuse coalition, “Middleboro Matters” is hosting a free community substance abuse forum at Middleboro High School on March 29 at 6p featuring Keynote Speaker Dr. Daniel Muse. All are welcome!
