The School Committee voted unanimously at the May 8th meeting to approve School Choice for incoming Kindergarten students for the 2017-2018 school year. For your planning purposes ……..The 2017-2018 School Calendar was approved by School Committee at their February 13, 2017 meeting.
Annual Budget Hearing
NOTICE ….The FY 18 annual budget hearing for the school department will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at Town Hall, 2nd floor conference room. Open to the public.
ALICE Drill December 13th and December 15th
On Tuesday, December 13, 2016 before 8:30am, and Thursday, December 15, 2016 before 8:30am with a follow-up in the afternoon, all students will participate in an ALICE drill. During this drill, students will practice barricading. We strongly urge all students to be present on both days to take full advantage of these practice drills. Please see the attached parent letter for more detailed information.

ALICE Training for Parents 10/26/16
On Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 6:30pm-8:30pm, Carver Middle School staff, along with local law enforcement, will be conducting and ALICE presentation. This will take place in the auditorium. Please see the information letter mailed home.
Please Note: Children will not be permitted to sit in during the presentation or take part in the demonstration. Free childcare will be offered by the Carver Middle High School National Honor Society.
