ALICE Drill December 13th and December 15th

On Tuesday, December 13, 2016 before 8:30am, and Thursday, December 15, 2016 before 8:30am with a follow-up in the afternoon, all students will participate in an ALICE drill.  During this drill, students will practice barricading.  We strongly urge all students to be present on both days to take full advantage of these practice drills. Please see the attached parent letter for more detailed information.

The Carver School Committee approved the following policy updates and revisions at their October 17, 2016 meeting.

ALICE Training for Parents 10/26/16

On Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 6:30pm-8:30pm, Carver Middle School staff, along with local law enforcement, will be conducting and ALICE presentation.  This will take place in the auditorium.  Please see the information letter mailed home.

Please Note: Children will not be permitted to sit in during the presentation or take part in the demonstration.  Free childcare will be offered by the Carver Middle High School National Honor Society.

We’re Going WICKED GOLD!

This Friday September 23rd the Carver School community is asking all students and staff to “Go Gold” for Pediatric Cancer.   Students and staff are asked to wear gold or yellow to School, Crusader Fest,  and to Support the Football/Cheerleading Teams at 7 PM, to raise awareness for pediatric cancer and show our continued support for the Kane family.
This is an event that will be going on in multiple towns via the “Go Wicked Gold” Campaign created by the  “Wicked Good Cause ” organization who have supported families affected by cancer, including  the Kane family.  Members of Wicked Good Cause will be at the Crusader Fest and Football game selling “Go Wicked Gold”  items such as bracelets, socks, and headbands.
