Hidden in Plain Sight

Hidden in Plain Sight is a program for parents sponsored by South Shore Hospital’s Youth Health Connection.  It begins with a walk through of a staged room that contains items used in substance use and ends with a presentation by the police department, school administration, and guidance.

It is not meant to scare parents, but to provide you with knowledge and support.  It is designed to “open parental eyes” and to move to honest, forthright, candid dialog and discussion between parent and teen.

The goal is to raise awareness, to heighten vigilance, but perhaps most importantly, take the steps to forge a strong, positive connection between parent and teen.  Talk, relationship, and connection are the greatest anti-risk tools available.

All parent | guardians are welcome to attend this presentation that will be held on Wednesday, February 24 @ 6:00p in the Carver Middle High School Auditorium.

Elementary School Building Search

On Monday, October 26th, the Carver Police,  in conjunction with the State Police and Plymouth County Sherriff’s K-9 units; conducted a search of the entire Elementary School facility and grounds and no intruder was found.  The search was based upon a report by a teacher that she had seen an unknown person enter the building prior to the start of school. The Carver Public Schools and Carver Police are dedicated to ensuring a safety of all of our students and staff.
