  • NEW Dismissal Traffic Patterns @ CMHS
Just a reminder, in an effort to alleviate gridlock traffic on South Meadow Road in the afternoon, there will be a new procedure for student pick-up at the end of the day .  If you arrive to pick-up your student prior to the 2:05 dismissal bell, you will need to park in the parking lot by the football field/high school gym and your student will meet you in the parking lot.  Parking will no longer be allowed in the main driveway and/or in front of the main entrance.  The exit route for parent pick-up will remain the same, all parents will exit onto South Meadow Road as the Pond Street Exit is used for buses and student drivers.  Carver Police and Carver Middle High School Staff will be vigilant during this time to support a smooth change of our traffic pattern.    Thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience as we make this transition.

Athletic Updates: 4/3/2023 thru 4/9/2023

Crusader Nation,

The sights and sounds of a new spring season are all around us and I am excited to welcome everyone to, what is sure to be, another successful spring athletic season here at Carver Middle High School. In fact, we in the athletic department are well underway as all of our spring teams are now entering their second week of the season and are now prepared to start games / matches / meets.  In addition to the teams hard at work, over the next few weeks we hope that you will notice some of the great upgrades around our athletic facilities that were supported by the school, our first rate facilities team, and our Boosters.

We have tremendous student-athletes and coaches participating in all of our sports, each one striving to become leaders and competitors on and off the field. We invite everyone to join us in supporting and celebrating all of our student-athletes throughout the season and join us at one of our spring athletic events. While you’re at it, please feel free to bring a friend or two and maybe even three to help support our teams.  Below is the schedule of the athletic contests for this up-coming week. We hope that you will attend one of our athletic contests and support our student-athletes and their coaches.

Athletic Weekly Tidbits:

  •  SAVE THE DATE – The reschedule of the Spring Athletic Photos will be on Tuesday April 25, 2023.  We will be sending out the schedule for teams as we get closer to ensure everyone practice / game / match / meet schedules do not interfere.

  • The Carver Boosters Club meeting will be held on Wednesday April 5, 2023 at 6:30 PM in the High School Library.   We hope that you would consider joining them at their meeting as they are all working extremely hard to assist with the overall experience all of our student-athletes and coaches have provide

  • New Communications Tool Coming 4/10/2023. We are excited to announce that we are piloting out the ClassTag program for our school communications this spring beginning with the Athletic Department beginning on Monday April 10, 2023.
The goal in using this program is to provide clear, consistent communication regarding all things for your students in one place, as opposed to having multiple apps for each of your students activities.  For more information, please see the Athletics Communication Page:  https://carver.org/athletics/athletics-communications/

  • We have had to update numerous game schedules due to class trips, prom(s), and other factors.  We have been in touch with the coach to inform them of these date changes and we continue to update the Arbiter site https://arbiterlive.com/Teams?entityId=3409.  We will hopefully have all planned changes completed by 4/1/2023.

  • We (the South Shore league) has received emails from both the baseball and softball head of officials stating that they may need us to move additional games due to the depleting officials pool.  We will keep everyone up to date in regards to any changes.

  • Please be advised that the picture day that was scheduled for Friday March 31, 2023 has been postponed.  We will be scheduling a makeup date after April vacation.  This will ensure we do not run into issues with class trips and proms.

  •  All outstanding user fees must be paid for or arranged for by Thursday March 30, 2023.  Any individuals with an outstanding balance or have not made arrangements for their user fee will have an interruption of their athletic participation.
