Literacy Resources
Families and caregivers are integral partners in helping their children foster a love for reading. Our core reading approach is to develop readers through teaching foundational skills (such as phonics) and developing the act of reading so that students can read fluently and understand what they read. Reading skills are so critical to life-long learning that many national organizations say that children should be read to or read at least 20 minutes each evening from birth.
