NEWS & UPDATES

  • NEW Dismissal Traffic Patterns @ CMHS
Just a reminder, in an effort to alleviate gridlock traffic on South Meadow Road in the afternoon, there will be a new procedure for student pick-up at the end of the day .  If you arrive to pick-up your student prior to the 2:05 dismissal bell, you will need to park in the parking lot by the football field/high school gym and your student will meet you in the parking lot.  Parking will no longer be allowed in the main driveway and/or in front of the main entrance.  The exit route for parent pick-up will remain the same, all parents will exit onto South Meadow Road as the Pond Street Exit is used for buses and student drivers.  Carver Police and Carver Middle High School Staff will be vigilant during this time to support a smooth change of our traffic pattern.    Thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience as we make this transition.

  • Congratulations to the Cast, Crew and Advisors of the High School Drama Club’s production of Cinderella — our very own Carver Crusader even got in on the act!  Enjoy a brief slideshow of photos and videos from the performance in case you missed it! Kudos and Bravo to all!

  • Name Tags For Dismissal @ CES
CES is proud to announce that every child will be receiving an end-of-school dismissal tag for their backpack. This tag is  designed to further improve our dismissal process. We will be placing the name tags on your child’s backpack. Here is an image of what a blank backpack tag looks like. Your child’s individual tag will include their typical end-of-day dismissal plan. We ask that you leave the tag on for the remainder of the school year. At the end of the year, we will work with you to evaluate our new system and make adjustments for the coming year. If the tag becomes damaged or is accidentally removed, please do not worry, we can quickly replace it. If you have any questions, please reach out to any of the school administrators.

  • SAFE SITTER PROGRAM FOR MIDDLE SCHOOLS STUDENTS
Carver Middle High School will offer the Safe Sitter program to middle school students as a WIN option beginning March 1st. The program will last approximately seven weeks and take place during WIN on Days 5, 6, & 7. Students will be required to attend all sessions to graduate and earn their certification. The Safe Sitter program prepares students to be safe when they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or have paid babysitting jobs. Classes will include lessons, fun games, role-playing activities, and include safety topics such as first aid and CPR. Students who complete the program will participate in a graduation ceremony and become a Certified Safe Sitter.Students were emailed a Google form to show interest in the program.  If your child is interested, please encourage them to complete the form by Tuesday, February 14th.  We are limiting this first session to 16 students, but will create a list for Session #2 which will take place after the April break. Please reach out to CMHS with any questions.
