Thursday, June 18th through Tuesday, June 23rd, are half days for high school students. High school students will not report to homeroom on these days. No lunches will be served on the half day and buses will arrive for dismissal at 10:45 a.m. for high school students.
Students are expected to use the entire testing time for successful completion of their exams and should not be dismissed during the exam period. Students are not expected to report during an exam period when they are normally scheduled for a directed study. Students who do not have an exam but who require bus transportation should report to their study hall as scheduled.
Students should expect report cards in the mail on or around July 3. Tentative students’ schedules will be sent with the principal’s letter in August.
School Choice – Approved for 2015-2016
The Carver School Committee voted to approve SCHOOL CHOICE for the 2015-2016 school year for incoming Kindergarten Students. 12 slots are available. for lottery. If interested in enrolling your child, contact metranoa@carver.org or call 508-866-6160. Deadline for applications is June 11th at noon.

Parent Advisory Council (PAC) for Special Education presents Middle School Programs and Services at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 27th at the Makepeace Literacy Center, 1st floor of Central Offices, 3 Carver Square Boulevard. All welcome to attend.
Transportation/Bus Requests for 2015-2016
NEW for the 2015-2016 school year! The transportation/bus request forms will now be submitted on-line. Please complete the information for your student(s) NO LATER than MAY 15, 2015.

Pre-School Role Model Screenings
The Carver Public Schools Preschool Program will be scheduling appointments for preschool screenings for role model slots for the 2015-2016 school year beginning March 2 through April 5. The program is located at the Carver Elementary School.
The child must be 3 (by September 1, 2015) or 4 years of age and toilet trained. The child must be a resident of Carver and parents must arrange transportation for the child to and from the program. A screening is required and acceptance into the program will be determined by lottery. Slots are limited, especially for the four year old program.
If you would like to schedule an appointment, please contact Pauline Lopez at (508) 866-6220. Requests for appointments received after April 5 will be put on a waiting list. Screenings will be held on Friday, 4/3/15; Friday, 4/17/15; Friday, 5/1/15; and Friday, 5/8/15.
YPAC Sign-Up for Sunday, Feb. 15th Cancelled
YPAC’s after-school program sign-up for kids in 6th to 8th grades scheduled for Sunday February 15th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. has been CANCELLED due to the impending snow storm.
