Insurance Information:

Carver employees can contact them for help with anything about their coverage. Employees with questions about if a provider is in network can contact these folks for help. They will have the Gateway / Carver info and can help do provider look ups, try to connect a provider that is not currently in the HPI network to join or, if the provider does not want to join, help the employee find an alternative provider.
Open Enrollment Information
The town-wide open enrollment period for all benefit plans begins on April 28 – May 9. Any changes made during the open enrollment period will take effect on July 1, 2025.
- Gateway’s health insurance plan premiums for active employees will increase by 9% for FY26.
- Dental and Vision plan rates remain locked in for next year so there is no increase in cost for Carver employees.
- A reminder that if you do not want to make any changes in your coverage, you do not need to take any action at all. If you do want to change, enrollment forms can be found below. Please email them to Kerri Virden at: virdenk@carver.org or drop it off at the business office prior to the end of the open enrollment window.
- If you have any questions about health insurance plans, we will host representatives from HPI on the dates below.

- Supplemental insurance (Aflac) enrollment can be done in person or virtually. If you’d like to chat with someone from Aflac in person, we’ll host their representatives on the following dates:
- Middle High School: April 30 from 10am to 1pm
- Carver Town Hall: May 2 from 8:30 to 11:30am
- Elementary School: May 2 from noon to 3pm
- If you’re interested in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) you must enroll each year. Links to the enrollment forms can be found below.
