Champions of Change

Congratulations to the first Carver Coyote Champions of Change announced and celebrated at the All School Assembly in February!

Cali Ieronimo, Dante Spadoni, Ashawna Miller, Melissa Arcanjo and Austin McDade were nominated by staff members and have been seen in their classroom or in the community taking steps to make a positive impact or change. The Champions of Change demonstrate excellent behavior inside and outside the classroom, they are well-mannered, and respectful to peers and teachers.

CES: Parent Teacher Conference Sign Ups Begin

With Parent/Guardian/Teacher Conferences just around the corner, this is an exciting and important time of the school year! For families of students in grades Preschool-Grade 5, Parent/Guardian/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm. Your child’s teacher is looking forward to discussing your child’s progress and sharing important information with you about your child’s daily work. You will hear from your child’s teacher beginning on the afternoon of Thursday, March 13, 2025, regarding scheduling a conference.

As you prepare for this conference, think about questions and/or concerns you have in an effort to maximize the allotted time given. For helpful tips, please go to the following:

Helpful Tips for Parent/Teacher Conferences from Understood

During the parent/teacher conference, you are welcome to bring your child to the school. They can sit in the hallway and catch up on some reading. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Carver Middle High School Principal, Mrs. Christine Cabral received a prestigious award at the 48th annual MASC Student Council State Leadership Conference. The 2025 Administrator of the Year Award is given to one outstanding administrator in the state of Massachusetts.

The CMHS Student Council was so proud to nominate Christine, and she gave such an amazing and heart felt speech to the over 1,100 students and advisors from across Massachusetts at the conference this past week. Congratulations Mrs. Cabral, we are so proud to have you as an outstanding administrator at Carver Public Schools and are grateful for your service to the students and community of Carver!

Thank you Sandra and Myrria from MassBioEd for leading a genetics lab for our students last week! Great job to all those who attended – you made us proud! Congratulations to the CMHS Culinary Team

of Darin Spence, Brian Donovan, Carissa Beard, and Gavin Scolamiero under the leadership of Chef Portelance who took 3rd place at the MA ProStart Culinary Competition last month. Gavin also received special recognition for his knife skills. Way to go!
