BioTech Lab Opportunity

CMHS students are invited to join this unique afterschool lab opportunity to use the new technologies bought with the Mass Life Science grant to look at the science behind Huntington’s Disease offered through Access Biotech and the Mass BioEd program. Sign up by contacting Mrs. Waitner or Mr. Witkowski for more information!

Mass BioEd will also be offering a career panel for Biotech Pathway students later this year helping to lead students to future scholarships and internships as they follow their passions.

ASVAB Exams

Carver Middle High School we will be administering the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) Career Exploration Aptitude Test on Thursday, December 18th during the school day for any interested junior or senior. This is required for any student who is considering the armed forces after high school. In addition to being used for the armed forces, it can also serve as a career exploration tool for all students.

For more information please see the permission slip. Completed permission slips should be returned to the high school guidance office by Friday, December 5th. There are also printed copies of the permission slip in the high school guidance office.

Congratulations and thank you to all the students and staff who participated in last year’s program on receiving this prestigious recognition for our school!

Carver Public Schools showed incredible generosity this Thanksgiving season …

…through food drives for the Shane Gives Thanks Food Pantry:

CES students collected 1,800 non perishable items during Spirit Week
CMHS families & Project 351 Ambassador Sydney Metrano gathered 1,000+ items plus a pallet of juice generously donated from a local parent through Stop N Shop
The captains’ council collected food donations as admissions to their PowderPuff games
EAPC (Teachers & ESP unions) donated $2,000 to the pantry.

Middle School Student Government raised $135 for Boston Children’s Hospital
Volleyball Team & Carver PD collected gifts for their annual toy drive
