NEWS & UPDATES

  • UPDATED BUS ROUTES EFFECTIVE 3/4/2024
Starting on Monday, March 4, the Carver Public Schools will be updating the majority of its bus routes.  While not every route is slated to change, many will.  Please check out the link below to view your student’s new bus number and time. This update is being done to maximize route efficiency due to a shortage of bus drivers in the area.  Please note that your student’s physical bus stop will not change, only the bus number that picks up at that stop.  In addition, no changes will be made to special education or pre-school transportation routes.
The transportation department will also be coordinating efforts with the Carver Elementary Team to ensure that any of our youngest riders experiencing a bus change are prepared for it well in advance. This communication will proactively go out to the school community multiple times over the coming weeks as a reminder.  If you have any questions, please contact Carver Public Schools Transportation at:  508.866.9627 or email at [email protected]

We strongly encourage parents/guardians to make appointments with one or all of the individual student’s teachers, the student’s guidance counselor, and/or the assistant principal or principal. This is a good opportunity to strengthen the partnership between home and school. You may simply want to connect with your student’s teacher to gain insight into the school day. You may want to address a concern or want to celebrate an achievement in a particular subject area. Please take advantage of this time to have some quiet conversation with our faculty and staff. As always, please don’t hesitate to call if you have any questions or are having any trouble scheduling online.

  • CONGRATULATIONS CRUSADERS:
Congratulations to the Carver Wrestling and Track Teams for a great job at their All States meets and to Camren Allain and Elena Thomas who are continuing on to compete at New Englands! Elena is Carver’s first female wrestler to advance to All States and New Englands and this is a repeat visit to New Englands for Cam!
Also wishing good luck to our Boys and Girls Crusader Basketball teams as they host first round tournament games at CMHS this week!

  • Kindergarten Registration 2024/2025 School Year is NOW OPEN!
Do you have a child ready to start Kindergarten?  Will they be 5 years old on or before 9/1/24?  Please click here for registration information! Administration is asking parents/guardians to register as soon as possible to get an accurate idea of how many students we will welcome this year.  Note: If your student currently attends the Preschool Program at Carver Elementary School, you have already registered in Aspen.   You will be contacted to set up a registration appointment.

  • The 2024 Spring Athletics registration portal opened on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 and will run through Wednesday, March 13, 2024. The easiest way to register your child for a sport is to click on the “Sports Registration” tab on the left at www.carver.org/athletics. More importantly, we will be basing scheduling and program decisions based on registration numbers as of that day; without adequate registrations, some sports/levels may not be guaranteed to run which is why it is so important for families to register early!

  • Thank you to Carver Elementary students who shared their “Change Sings” song and thoughts with us and to Ms. Krampf for putting this all together for our students and community!
