With seventeen student leaders in attendance, Carver High StuCo was once again well represented at the MASC (Massachusetts Association of Student Councils) annual spring conference in Hyannis (March 8-10). For the fourth consecutive year, the council earned state recognition as a Gold Council. Their advisor, Mr. Tresca reports that these “excellent young adults who had a blast…worked very hard this past year…between plunging into the Atlantic Ocean for Special Olympics and particpating at the 3 day conference, I am very proud of these kids!”

Habitat-Stoughton
Two Carver Middle High School Juniors, Jacob Rennie and Sawyer Shaw accompanied by their US History teacher, Thomas McLean traveled to Stoughton February 19th, to participate in a Habitat for Humanity building project, as part of their community service graduation requirement. Habitat for Humanity provides affordable housing for low income families worldwide and relies on the services of volunteers to complete their mission which has provided thousands of homes to deserving families for over 30 years.
