  • Join us for our annual Information Night, which will be held on Thursday, September 11 from 6- 8 PM. On this evening, you will have the opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and gather essential information about our curriculum, grade level expectations for homework, class rules, as well as school wide information. On this evening, we will continue with our Passport to Education so that you will have an opportunity to meet the allied arts teachers, therapists, nurses, Director of Literacy, math coach and administrators. We hope to see you there!

  • All morning drop-offs will take place at the GJC building cafeteria. Please follow the signs as you enter the driveway to our school. Drop-offs will take place between 8:00 and 8:15 am and a staff member will help your child unload. If you walk your child in, you must park your vehicle to the far right of the black top in the designated parking area.

    End of the day pick-up will be at the GJC cafeteria for ALL students. You may enter the cafeteria once staff is on hand to open the door at 2:40 pm. You will need to sign your child out and identification is required in order to ensure a higher level of safety for your child. For additional information regarding these procedures, please refer to our handbook.

  • School security remains our priority. We have implemented new school security procedures, which include locking the front doors of the Governor John Carver Building and having all visitors report to the Erwin K. Washburn Building.

  • Anyone wanting to volunteer in any capacity at Carver Elementary School is welcomed. Remember you must complete a CORI form and attend one of our volunteer trainings, even if you are chaperoning a field trip.
