attended by many families! While you were here, we hope you were able to learn about
our curriculum and the expectations for your child while he/she attends Carver
Elementary. Many families participated in our Passport to Education. Our intention with
the Passport was to continue to encourage participation and to allow parents and families
an opportunity to become acquainted with our specialists and support staff. Thank you for
making an effort to be here!

Water Quality Test
All morning drop-offs will take place at the GJC building cafeteria. Please follow the signs as you enter the driveway to our school. Drop-offs will take place between 8:00 and 8:15 am and a staff member will help your child unload. If you walk your child in, you must park your vehicle to the far right of the black top in the designated parking area.
End of the day pick-up will be at the GJC cafeteria for ALL students. You may enter the cafeteria once staff is on hand to open the door at 2:40 pm. You will need to sign your child out and identification is required in order to ensure a higher level of safety for your child. For additional information regarding these procedures, please refer to our handbook.
Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures
School security remains our priority. We have implemented new school security procedures, which include locking the front doors of the Governor John Carver Building and having all visitors report to the Erwin K. Washburn Building.
Anyone wanting to volunteer in any capacity at Carver Elementary School is welcomed. Remember you must complete a CORI form and attend one of our volunteer trainings, even if you are chaperoning a field trip.
If you are a Carver resident and feel that your preschooler, age 2 1/2 to 5 (just before kindergarten), has special needs, please contact the Carver pre-school and schedule a screening. Screenings are generally held on the first Friday of the month throughout the school year. Please call Mrs. Blackden at 508-866-6307 or Mrs. Wethington 508-866-6403 to schedule a screening or to address any questions.
