Grade 8 Takes on New York City!
Students in Grade 8 took their annual whirlwind day trip to NYC last week and got to soak in all the sights including a trip to Madam Tussaud’s Wax Museum, the Radio City Rockettes and more!
Thank you to our staff and chaperones who make this opportunity possible for our students!
A special thank you …
A special thank you to our Director of Food and Nutrition Services, Theresa Vernazzaro for the work she has done and the positive impact made during her time at Carver Public Schools. She not only has arranged for healthy meals and led the Food and Nutrition Services department but has also partnered with the district to bring unique opportunities and experiences like the life-sized gingerbread houses, cafeteria renovations, smoothie contests, creative cooking club, Try it Tuesdays, Hydroponics and more to Carver Schools. She has been recognized nationally for her work and her dedication and impact have been felt throughout our school community.
Mrs. Vernazzaro’s last day will be this week as she moves on to new endeavors serving the whole of Plymouth County. We wish her all the best!
