Middle School Movie Loft: Hotel Transylvania – Grades 6-8

October 16, 2026
2:00p – 4:00p | Carver Middle High School

Student Government Grades 6-8 will be showing the movie “Hotel Transylvania” in the auditorium on Friday, October 16 from 2 – 4pm. A $2 donation is suggested for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and students can bring their own snacks or buy concessions in the lobby.

Polar Plunge at CMHS for Special Olympics

Student council members will host in a Polar Plunge fundraiser for Special Olympics Massachusetts on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at 2:45p outside the CMHS Gymnasium!

Please Register, Donate and Take the Plunge. If you do not want to plunge.. be a towel holder and cheer on others who plunge!!

Elementary and Middle High School Connections

Thank you to Carver Youth Soccer, Carver Youth Cheer and Carver Youth Football for joining our varsity teams for Youth Nights this past week and to the Cross Country team and Elementary Running Club who ran together last week, too, continuing to build our community connections!

Student Council Leaders

Last week, student council members from grades 9-12 attended the annual SEMASC conference where several Crusaders led leadership workshops for students from all over Southeastern Massachusetts. Several CMHS Student Council leaders are also headed to an officers workshop this weekend to further hone their leadership skills.

Join them as they host a schoolwide Polar Plunge this month!

Career Workshops @ Old Colony
Monday through Thursday from 4:00–9:00 PM, January through April 2027, with approximately 10 participants per cohort in Carpentry, Welding, or Manufacturing. Open to high school seniors who are 18 years of age or older, as well as qualifying adults. Participants will receive hands-on technical training, have the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials, and gain exposure to additional employment opportunities in high-demand career fields.No cost to eligible participants!
