NEWS & UPDATES

  • Pathways Grants
    We are excited to announce that we have received a $25,000 planning grant to start a Clean Energy Innovation Pathway at the Middle High School.  The clean energy innovation pathway will allow students to get applied, hands-on learning opportunities in the renewable energy sector, which is a growing high-demand industry across Massachusetts.  We are one of only 6 school districts to receive the clean energy pathway grant.  We are e
    xcited to be on the cutting edge in this field in terms of what is happening on the high school level in the state. We are also happy to report we have received a grant of $50,000 to support the EAS and MET innovation pathways.

 

  • 2023-24 Winter season Athletics registration is now OPEN
    through Wednesday, November 22, 2023. Click on the “Sports Registration” tab on the left at www.carver.org/athletics. More information about Please access our CMHS Athletic Registration Information Document for all information and eligibility standards including; Registration, Physical Examinations, User Fees and ImPACT testing.

 

  • Congratulations to these CMHS and CES students who were recognized by the Administration and School Committee for scoring “Exceeding Expectations” in one or more of their MCAS exams.

  • Annual Civics Fair
    Last week Grade 10 students participated in the annual Civics Fair where they were able to interact with town departments set up at “college-fair” style tables to explore the role of local government in the US political system and reinforce the importance of civic engagement and self-government!Many thanks to the presenters from the Town of Carver for making this event a success: Mark Pineo & Lisa Eriksson (Veterans Affairs), Cara Dahill (Town Clerk), Stephanie Clougherty (School Committee), Assistant Deputy Boyle (Carver Fire), Gary Flaherty (Conservation), Deputy Sheri Sarmento (Police), Mike Ryan (EMS), Kevin Forgue (Health Agent), Dave Siedentopf (Operations & Maintenance), Robert Fennesy (Town Administrator), Tom Bott (Town Planner), Tom Walsh (Emergency Management), and Carole Julius (Library Director).

    Sponsored by the Middle School Student Government
    Admission requires a ticket purchased in advance

    Extra pizza, candy and novelty items will be sold as well. Costumes are optional. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes! Pick up at the front of the building at 4:00 p.m.  Students may not leave early unless Mr. Sullivan or Mr. Wechter are notified in writing prior to the event!
