• Kudos to Biotech and Business Pathway students for their presentation entitled: “Daylight Savings: Are the effects worth it?” in January. • SAFE SITTER PROGRAM FOR MIDDLE SCHOOLS STUDENTS
  Carver Middle High School will offer the Safe Sitter program to middle school students as a WIN option beginning March 1st. The program will last approximately seven weeks and take place during WIN on Days 5, 6, & 7. Students will be required to attend all sessions to graduate and earn their certification.

  The Safe Sitter program prepares students to be safe when they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or have paid babysitting jobs. Classes will include lessons, fun games, role-playing activities, and include safety topics such as first aid and CPR. Students who complete the program will participate in a graduation ceremony and become a Certified Safe Sitter.

  Students were emailed a Google form to show interest in the program.  If your child is interested, please encourage them to complete the form by Tuesday, February 14th.  We are limiting this first session to 16 students, but will create a list for Session #2 which will take place after the April break.
