Carver Girls Basketball Elite 8 Tournament Game Info

On Friday, March 7th, our Crusaders Girls Basketball team will play South Hadley at 6pm for the MIAA Division 4 Elite 8 tournament game. This game will be played at South Hadley High School. With that being said, we would like to share the details about the online advance ticketing through GoFan.

 

Here is the link to purchase tickets directly in advance:

  • Carver vs. South Hadley
  • Admission Fee
    • $11.50 (adults)
    • $6.25 (students/seniors)

 

*Please note, this is the only option to purchase tickets for the event (cash option will not be available). It is strongly recommended that you purchase tickets in advance. When you arrive, please open up your tickets on your cell phone before entering the building.  ONLY GAME DAY PERSONNEL SHOULD CLICK THIS BUTTON.

This game will be played at Carver Middle High School. With that being said, we would like to share the details about the online advance ticketing through GoFan.

*Please note, this is the only option to purchase tickets for the event (cash option will not be available). It is strongly recommended that you purchase tickets in advance, due to the limited cell service in the building. When you arrive, please open up your tickets on your cell phone before entering the building. Ticket sellers will be at the entrance of the gym to click the “Use ticket” option. ONLY GAME DAY PERSONNEL SHOULD CLICK THIS BUTTON.

NOLAN KENNEALLY – Indoor Track & Field

  • Nolan made states in three events:
    • High Jump (6″)
    • 55M Dash (6.91)
    • 4 x 200
  • Nolan was selected to be a South Shore League All Star
  • Best of luck to Nolan and the rest of the team as we enter the post season.

MAYA SEPULVEDA – Indoor Track & Field

  • Maya won the shotput event at the South Shore League Championship meet – coming in 1st out of 31 athletes with a throw of 29’10”
  • Maya’s season PR in shotput is 30’05”
  • Maya qualified for states and is a South Shore League all star.
  • Good luck in the post season to Maya and the rest of the team.

CMHS Welcomes New Football Coach

Carver Middle High School is excited to welcome our new Head Football Coach Jermetrius Troy for the 2025 Fall Season.

Jermetrius comes to us with 12 years of experience as a Football Coach both at the high school and college level. He was previously a head coach at Nobles and Greenough High School and Holderness High School. Most recently, he was the Special teams coordinator and recruiting coordinator at Central Connecticut State University. Jermetrius played running back at Stonehill College and is 4th all time in rushing yards and 5th all time in rushing touchdowns. This past week he received the RISMA Football Coach of the Year award for coaching Old Rochester Youth Football.

Coach Troy will be in the building this Friday, 2/14 to meet with all players during WIN block in the auditorium.

We would like to thank Coach Pabst for serving in the role of Interim Football Coach.  We would also like to wish him the best of luck in the future.

JULIA GRIMES – Girls Basketball

  • In three games last week, Julia averaged 15 pts. 20 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 assists, and 2 blocks a game to lead the team to three wins.
  • “Julia defines what I  call “Relentless Pursuit of the Basketball”, which in turn is a relentless pursuit of winning” – Coach Ponte
  • Team Record: 11-4 (Qualified for the D4 State Tournament)

JACK REED – Wrestling

  • Jack is a 2024 Allstate Qualifier, a 4 year member of the wrestling team, and a coach of Carver Youth Wrestling.
  • Jack has climbed the podium at all three of the tournaments he wrestled in this year.
  • With the regular season coming to an end this weekend, jack currently has an impressive record of 33 wins and only 5 losses on the season so far.

BROOKLYN BENTING – Girls Ice Hockey

  • Brooklyn has 2 assists so far in  the season.
  • She is the most consistent winger on the team who does all the little things right.
  • Strong on picks, first on the back check and always around the net in the offensive zone.
  • “She is a great teammate and very coachable” -Coach Ferreira
  • Team record: 7-6-1

LOGAN MOORE – Boys Ice Hockey

  • Logan scored his first varsity goal on 1/18/2025 in a 4-1 win against Cohasset/Hull.
  • Logan has 1 goal and 4 assists on the season.
  • “Logan has stepped into a major defense role this season and is always looking for ways to improve” – Coach Antell
  • Current team record is 3-7-2

NATE HELMS – boys Basketball

  • This past week, Nate had 16 PTS, 14 RBS vs Randolph and 22 PTS, 17 RBS vs. Hull in a 2-0 for the team.
  • Nate is averaging 16 Points, 11.7 Rebs, 2.4 Steals per game on the season.
  • Nate was nominated for the Patriot Ledger Boys Basketball Player of the Week.  Go vote now!
  • Team Record: 3-5

ALYSSA VIRDEN – Indoor Track & Field

  • Alyssa placed 4th out of 24 Runners in the 600M at the Winter Warrior HS Meet with a PR of  1:57:71
  • She is very versatile athlete running relays as well as 1000M, High Jump and Long Jump.
  • With a PR of 4-8 in High Jump and a PR of 14’10 in the Long Jump, she is very close to qualifying for states in both, says Coaches Trudeau and Ieronimo

  • WEEK 1 NOMINATION FOR PATRIOT LEDGER GIRLS  BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK.
  • “JOSIE HAS SEEN THE EMBODIMENT OF OUR EVERYDAY TEAM MANTRA OF WORK HARD , GET BETTER” -Coach Ponte
  • TEAM RECORD: 4 – 3

COLESON TULLY– Wrestling

  • ​COLESON HAS KICKED OFF THE FIRST HALF OF THE 2024 / 25 WRESTLING SEASON WITH AN IMPRESSIVE RECORD OF 20 WINS ANO ONLY 1 LOSS BRINGING HIS CAREER RECORD TO 133 WINS . THIS PLACES HIM WITHIN REACH OF A SCHOOL RECORD .
  • HE HAS SECURED THE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE IN 3 OUT OF 4 TOURNAMENTS INCLUDING THE SECOND LARGEST  TOURNAMENT IN THE STATE, COMPETING AGAINST 36 OTHER TEAMS .
  • NOT ONLY IS TULLY CARVER ‘ S FIRST MARSHFIELD TOURNAMENT CHAMPION IN OVER 20 YEARS , HE WAS NAMED THE TOURNAMENT OUTSTANDING WRESTLER ANO RECOGNIZED INDIVIDUALLY AMONGST ALL WRESTLERS
    COMPETING .
