Fall Sports Information and Meet the Coaches Night

 

Thursday, August 14 – 6:00p | Carver Middle High School
Parents/Guardians/Athletes will be able to meet with their respective coaches, where they will provide important information regarding the season, which includes practice times, game schedules, expectations, to name a few.  This will also be a time where you can drop off physicals and payments as well.  If you have any questions, please reach out to Athletic Director, Kelsey Kincade in the Athletic Office.

 

 

Carver Schools Summer Hours

Please note the following summer hours for the Carver Public Schools  Administrative Offices.  (July 1 – August 1)

8:00a – 3:00p Mondays – Thursdays
8:00a -12:00p Fridays (6/21 – 8/8)


While our administrative offices and offices in the school buildings are open during the summer it is recommended that you make appointments prior to arrival due to staff availability through the summer months.

CMHS Welcomes new Girls Varsity Basketball Coach

Carver Middle High School is excited to welcome our new Head  Varsity Girls Basketball Coach Steve Kane for the 2025-2026 Winter Season.

Steve has been the JV Boys Basketball Coach here at Carver MHS for 10 years. Additionally, he has been a PE teacher and the JV Baseball Coach at Carver MHS for 2 years. Steve has many years of coaching and officiating basketball at the youth, high school and AAU levels. With his experience, knowledge and passion, we are excited to have him lead and further develop our girls basketball program.

Congratulations to Crusader Athletes of the Week:
May 28, 2025

KYLE CAREY – Baseball

  • “Kyle has been a great outfielder this year and we look forward to seeing his arm develop on the mound over the next couple years.” –Coach Cunningham
  • Kyle pitched 16 Innings this year over 4 games with 2 starts on the mound.  His season stats include a 1.31 ERA and 0.875 whip.
  • Kyle went 7 innings allowing 1 hit and 2 walks with 4 strikeouts in a win vs. Mashpee on 5/19.
  • In the game, Kyle went 0/1 with 2 walks and 2 runs scored in the 3-0 win over.

MAEVE ZAKREWSKI – Track & Field

  • “Maeve is the athlete all coaches wish they could clone.  Not just for athleticism but how she always is positive and puts her team first.” – Coach Trudeau
  • Maeve showed what a great teammate she is by stepping up and running the mile at the state relays when one of her teammates could not compete.
  • Maeve received three medals at the state relays: 2nd in the shotput. 2nd in the javelin and 5th in the 4xmile.

DARRIAN KING – Track & Field

  • “Diggs leaves a lasting impression, not just through his athletic talent, but through the way he carries himself – with confidence, authenticity, and a genuine connection to those around him.” –Coach Trudeau
  • His relay teams came in 1st in the long jump and 4th in the triple jump at the Division 6 State Relays.
  • He qualified for states in the long jump and triple jump.
  • Darrian is South Shore League All Star this season.

HALEY SCOTT – Softball

  • “She is always looking for ways to be a better player.  Her positive attitude and smile will be missed next season!” – Coach Silva
  • Haley has played multiple positions this season including LF, RF and DP in the batting order.
  • The last few games she has been a solid bat and and player for the team going 5 for 8 and a diving catch to end the inning that could have given up multiple runs.

QUINN WILEY – Tennis

  • Quinn won back to back matches at first doubles on 5/12 vs. Rising Tide and 2nd Singles on 5/13 versus St. John Paul II.
  • “In his first year as a captain, Quinn has demonstrated excellent leadership qualities b y keeping his team motivated.” –Coach Murphy

SHATAVIA LEONARD – Track & Field

  • “Nobody is going to out work her. She is constantly pushing for the better.  She pulls her teammates up and is willing to help anyone who asks.  She is the pulse of the team!” – Coach Trudeau
  • Shatavia placed 4th in the shot put and 4th in the discus at the South Shore League meet.
