Reminder of CMHS Summer School Requirements
  • Middle School Students Grades 6-8 who earn a final grade below 60% in math and/or English will be required to complete an online summer school program.
  • High School Students Grade 9 – 12 will be required to attend summer school for the following reasons: if they have a final grade of below 60% in a current or previous course, Loss of credit in a course due to absences or need to make up or meet a graduation requirement.

Summer School will no longer be available at Carver Middle High School. Summer school fees will vary based on the number of courses required.  More detailed information regarding summer school options will be provided as needed.

We recommend that students and families check Aspen regularly for grades and communicate with teachers to make plans to bring up grades if currently in danger of failing a class for the year.

High school families, it is also a good idea to check attendance to ensure that students are not in danger of losing credit for a class. Just a reminder that students are allowed 8 absences for a semester class and 16 absences for a full year class.
