Grades 8-10: Your New School Chromebook is Ready

All students entering grades 8, 9, and 10 will be receiving a brand new school Chromebook! 

To receive your new Chromebook, please stop by Carver Middle High School Main Lobby during one of the following times:

• Monday, August 3 – Thursday, August 6: 8:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.
• Friday, August 7: 8:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.

In order to receive a new device, you must bring your current school-issued Chromebook to  exchange it for the new one. If you are unable to pick up your new Chromebook during the scheduled distribution times, additional information will be provided when school resumes on September 2 regarding when and where you can pick up your new device during school hours. 

You do not need to bring your current charger, as it is compatible with your new Chromebook and you can continue to use it.  If you have lost your charger, replacement chargers will be available for purchase for $35 when you pick up your new Chromebook. You may pay by cash or by check made payable to Carver Middle High School.

This Chromebook will remain assigned to you for as long as you are a student at Carver Middle High School. We encourage you to take good care of it, as it will be your school-issued device throughout your time at CMHS.   While not required, we highly recommend that families purchase a protective Chromebook case. A case helps protect the device from everyday wear and tear while also giving students the opportunity to personalize their Chromebook and make it their own.  Please see the attached link to a recommended Chromebook Cover.
