Crusader Athletes of the Week: September 16, 2067

 

Mitchell Sawicki

Mitch tallied 8 goals for the Carver Varsity Soccer team. By averaging 2.6 goals in the first 3 games, he helped the team get off to a 3-0 start. Mitch was able to combine with his striking partner, Aaron Reed, in which Aaron was able to provide Mitch with 4 assists during the undefeated start to the season.

Pearl [Alyvia] LaFountain

Pearl has been an integral part of nearly every play in both games last week. Pearl set up goals, executed corners, and finished plays in front of the net. She also switched positions mid-game to fill a gap we needed covered, and did so with grace. She is a strong leader who consistently pushes her teammates to be their best.
