Carver Public Schools would like to thank Exxon Mobile Educational Alliance for awarding our school district a $500 grant. Carver Middle High School has been notified that our school is the recipient of this grant to be used for maintenance and support in the area of Math and/or Science. Jodi Dunton, Manager of New England Farms in South Carver submitted the application for the grant on behalf of our schools.

Come join us as we travel down a rabbit whole into a crazy adventure where we meet an array of characters.

Putting for Patients
“Putting for Patients” on Sunday, February 11 from 2 – 5p in the HS Gymnasium. Sponsored by the Carver MHS Student Council, partnering with the Jimmy Fund.
$15 per adult $10 per child (under 18)
Pay at the door (cash & checks accepted – made out to the Jimmy Fund)
Teams of 2-4 Players are welcome to come play on a full mini indoor golf course at this family friendly event! Price includes:18 Holes of Mini Golf, Long Put Contest, Caricature Artist, and 10 “Opportunity Drawing” Tickets. * Refreshments available for an additional cost.

in conjunction with the the CMHS Culinary Program
An event sure to stimulate all the senses with five one act plays, original music by Mikayla Adams matched with culinary delights from mocktails to mousse in a four course meal served throughout the performance. All proceeds will benefit Shane Gives Thanks Food Pantry located in Carver and serving the greater Carver area with nutritious food and household goods.
Tickets are only $15 and are available in advance in the main office of Carver Middle High School, at the door on the night of the performances, or by contacting Mr. Thomas McLean @ 508-866-6146.

Screenagers, Growing Up in the Digital Age
Thursday, February 1, Carver Middle High School will be hosting a special documentary entitled SCREENAGERS at 7:00 PM in the CMHS Auditorium. SCREENAGERS: Growing Up in the Digital Age, is a documentary about the biggest parenting issue of our time.
The event is free to all Carver staff, Carver parents, and CMHS students and those interested can register HERE.

Students in grade 9-12 will be taking mid-term examinations this week based on the schedule listed below:
Tuesday, Jan 23rd : Full day of School – Day 7
Periods 7, 1, 2, 3 will meet and lunch will be served.
12:05 – 12:35 p.m. Period 4 Review
12:35 – 2:05 p.m. Period 4 Exam
Wednesday, Jan 24th : Early Release for HS Students
7:32 – 9:00 a.m. Period 1 Exam
9:10 – 10:45 a.m. Period 5 Exam
Thursday, Jan 25th : Early Release for HS Students
7:32 – 9:00 a.m. Period 2 Exam
9:10 – 10:45 a.m. Period 6 Exam
Friday, Jan 26th : Early Release for HS Students
7:32 – 9:00 a.m. Period 3 Exam
9:10 – 10:45 a.m. Period 7 Exam
Tuesday, January 23rd, will be a full day of school with Period 4 exam ending at 2:05 p.m. Wednesday, January 24th through Friday, January 26th will be half days for high school students. No lunches will be served for HS students on the half days, and buses will arrive for dismissal at 10:50a
Students are expected to use the entire testing time for successful completion of their exams and should not be dismissed until the scheduled end of each exam. Juniors and seniors are not expected to report during an exam period when they are normally scheduled for a directed study or internship, if they can provide their own transportation. If juniors and seniors cannot provide their own transportation, they must report to their scheduled study. All freshman and sophomores are to be at school from 7:32 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
