    This winter Carver High School Drama is performing a production called, “Carver Gives Thanks – A Benefit for Shane Gives Thanks Food Pantry”. A collection of scenes from a variety of classic holiday stories as well as some lesser known tales of the season.  Advance tickets will be sold for $20 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Food and beverages will be served throughout the show.

    Admission: Tickets cost $7 which includes 1 slice of pizza and a soda.Tickets will be sold in the cafeteria during lunch from WEDNESDAY, December 7th – WEDNESDAY, December 14th. Tickets may NOT be purchased at the door.Students may bring food from home and have it covered in chocolate (think strawberries, cookies, marshmallows, bananas…etc)!  Administration and staff will chaperone the social. A professional DJ will be entertaining the kids. We will also have tables where kids can play board games.   Extra pizza, candy and novelty items will be sold as well. At 4pm, students will exit the FRONT of the building through the Middle School entrance. Students must stay at the social until 4pm unless Mr. Sullivan or Mr. Wechter are notified in writing prior to the event!  Food that needs to be refrigerated can be brought to Mr. Wechter or Mr. Sullivan on December 16th.
  • Grade 7-8 Chocolate Dance
    5:00 – 7:00 PM | Carver Middle High School
    Admission: Tickets cost $7 which includes 1 slice of pizza and a soda.
    Tickets will be sold in the cafeteria during lunch from WEDNESDAY, December 7th – WEDNESDAY, December 14th. Tickets may NOT be purchased at the door.7th & 8th graders may attend both events.  You must purchase a ticket for EACH event.  Students attending BOTH events must stay in the cafeteria from 4-5pm. STUDENTS – If you leave the social or dance without permission from a chaperone, you will NOT be allowed back in! Thank you all the students and families who  joined us at Carver Elementary for the Title One Family Movie Night! Thank you to all those who volunteered to help make a fun night for our students and families!

Last week Bridgewater State University came to CMHS for “Instant Decision Day.”  Students were interviewed by an admissions counselor and got an on the spot acceptance, many accepted into their honors program!  Congratulations to those who were accepted!

Congratulations to Charlie Donovan who has been selected to represent Carver Middle High School as our PROJECT 351 Ambassador due to his leadership, kindness, and willingness to give to others.

  • Carver Elementary School’s Annual Winter Wonderland hosted by the PTO will be on December 2 from 12:00 – 4:00 PM.  Join the PTO to celebrate the warmth of the season.   • ASVAB Permission Slips Due

    The CMHS Guidance Department will, once again, be administering the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) Career Exploration Aptitude Test on Thursday, December 1st during the school day for any interested junior or senior. This is required for any student who is considering the armed forces after high school. In addition to being used for the armed forces, it can also serve as a career exploration tool for all students. For more information please see the attached permission slip. Completed permission slips should be returned to the high school guidance office by Tuesday, November 22nd.

Winter Cheerleading now offered!

Winter Cheerleading is now being offered this season to students in grades 7-12.

Please register on FamilyID at the following link:
https://www.familyid.com/organizations/carver-middle-high-school-athletics  A payment of $150 can be made on-line when registering, or a check/cash can be brought to the athletic office.

We will be reaching out in the near future in regards to a coach/athlete/parent/guardian meeting.

November 15 & 17: Winter Sports “Meet the Coaches” Night

Tuesday, November 15 – 6:00p | Carver Middle High School
BOYS BASKETBALL

Due to a scheduling conflict, boys basketball “meet the coaches” and information meeting will be Tuesday, November 15 at 6:00p in the High School Gym.  All players and parents are encouraged to attend, especially those who have not been through the tryout process or played before.  This replaces the all sports meeting scheduled for 11/17 for boys basketball only.

Thursday, November 17 – 5:30p | Carver Middle High School
 Parents/Guardians/Athletes will be able to meet with their respective coaches, where they will provide important information regarding the season, which includes practice times, game schedules, expectations, to name a few.  This will also be a time where you can drop off physicals and payments as well.  If you have any questions, please reach out to Phyllis Bowie in the Athletic Office.

Thursday, November 17 – 6:00p | Middleboro High School
ICE HOCKEY

Parents/Guardians/Athletes will meet at Middleboro High School as our Ice Hockey team once again will be a multi-town co-op.  Atheltes and families will be able to meet with their respective coaches, where they will provide important information regarding the season, which includes practice times, game schedules, expectations, to name a few.
