Athletic Updates: 5/8-12, 2023

Crusader Nation,

We hope that everyone is ready for a great month of May. We are looking forward to a busy week for all of our athletic teams. Please keep in mind that some of these schedules will change due to weather and make updates still to be announced.

 

Just as a reminder we have tremendous student-athletes and coaches participating in all of our sports, each one striving to become leaders and competitors on and off the field. We invite everyone to join us in supporting and celebrating all of our student-athletes throughout the season and join us at one of our spring athletic events. While you’re at it, please feel free to bring a friend or two and maybe even three to help support our teams. Below is the schedule of the athletic contests for this up-coming week as well as our Athletic Weekly Tidbits. We hope that you will attend one of our athletic contests and support our student-athletes and their coaches.

 

Athletic Weekly Tidbits

  • The Carver Boosters Club would like all of our student-athletes (all levels and all seasons) to save the date for our first annual Student-Athlete Celebration Event on Monday June 5, 2023. The event will be after practices in the early evening at the Carver Middle High School. We will have more details to follow in the first couple of weeks in May.

 

  • The Crusader Athletic Boosters Club is sponsoring a Golf Tournament on June 10th at Southers Marsh Golf Club in Plymouth. This annual event is their biggest fundraiser of the year! All monies raised directly benefits Carver Athletics/Student Athletes.  We would love for you to put a foursome in for this fundraiser and show your support for the Boosters Club! The cost is $100 per golfer and it includes: 18 holes of golf, cart and dinner after golf. We will also have some great raffle prizes!   • We ask that all senior student athletes please watch their emails as we will be sending out a notification for students to earn an Athletic Cord for their graduation. The email will be out this week and will have all of the requirements to have earned a student-athlete cord.

 

  • Please watch your emails this week for the announcement on 2023 Fall athletic start dates and schedules.

4:30 PM – Girls and Boys Track & Field vs Rockland HS

4:30 PM – Varsity Girls Tennis at Randolph HS
