Athletic Updates: 5/2-5/5

Crusader Nation,

We hope that everyone enjoyed some great deserved time off over the April vacation and have acclimated back to a regular schedule. We are looking forward to a busy week for all of our teams. As you all returned to campus, we hope that you noticed some of the great upgrades around our athletic facilities. These upgrades are meant to enhance the pride that we all have in being Crusaders. We want to take this time to thank the school, our first rate facilities team, and our Boosters that continue to support the upgrades for our student-athletes. Please keep in mind that we continue to make improvements and while we would like to have all improvements all done at once we do need to space them out for numerous reasons.

Just as a reminder we have tremendous student-athletes and coaches participating in all of our sports, each one striving to become leaders and competitors on and off the field. We invite everyone to join us in supporting and celebrating all of our student-athletes throughout the season and join us at one of our spring athletic events. While you’re at it, please feel free to bring a friend or two and maybe even three to help support our teams. Below is the schedule of the athletic contests for this up-coming week as well as our Athletic Weekly Tidbits. We hope that you will attend one of our athletic contests and support our student-athletes and their coaches.

 

Athletic Weekly Tidbits

 

  • The Carver Boosters Club would like all of our student-athletes (all levels and all seasons) to save the date for our first annual Student-Athlete Celebration Event on Monday June 5, 2023. The event will be after practices in the early evening at the Carver Middle High School. We will have more details to follow in the first couple of weeks in May.

 

  • The Crusader Athletic Boosters Club is sponsoring a Golf Tournament on June 10th at Southers Marsh Golf Club in Plymouth. This annual event is their biggest fundraiser of the year! All monies raised directly benefits Carver Athletics/Student Athletes.

    We would love for you to put a foursome in for this fundraiser and show your support for the Boosters Club! The cost is $100 per golfer and it includes: 18 holes of golf, cart and dinner after golf. We will also have some great raffle prizes! Please email [email protected] for more information or to register.

 

  • We ask that all senior student athletes please watch their emails as we will be sending out a notification for students to earn an Athletic Cord for their graduation. The email will be out by the end of this week and will have all of the requirements to have earned a student-athlete cord.

 

  • Save the date for our 2022-2203 student-athlete celebration on June 5, 2023 being put on by the Carver Boosters Club

 

  • Please watch your emails next week for the announcement on 2023 Fall athletic start dates and schedules.

4:00 AM – Boys & Girls Track – MSTCA Freshman / Sophomore Meet at Middleboro HS
