Chromebook Insurance

to purchase or renew your student’s Chromebook insurance.

This year, students in grades 6 and 7, will have access to chromebooks in each of their academic classes, while students in grades 8-12 will continue to maintain their school issued chromebooks.   In order to simplify the chromebook insurance process, families are no longer responsible for purchasing an insurance policy per device. Instead, the district has purchased one insurance policy for all devices, and students will be charged a user fee per device.

A technology account has been added through the www.myschoolbucks.com  program, and students must complete an Acceptable Use Agreement (AUP) and  pay the fee online.  The deadline to pay the user fee and complete AUP is Friday September 13th.   

** It should be noted that a separate account must be created for each student in grades 8-12.  In order to create these accounts, students will be required to enter their student identification number. Students in grades 6 and 7 do not need to purchase insurance as their devices will remain in school throughout the school year .
