Ice Bucket Challenge UPDATE & PICTURES

First and foremost, we want to express our most sincere gratitude to:

• You, the parents and guardians for your support and generosity!
• the Carver Fire Department for their assistance in filling 450 buckets with water – it was quite a task!
• The Home Depot in Plymouth who let us use 450 of their signature orange buckets!
• … and all of the families who lent us buckets and ice!

With your help – the students of Carver Middle High School raised over $2,000 for the ALS Foundation and roughly 450 students and faculty members doused themselves with the icy waters!   We passed the challenge along to Middleboro High School in the hopes that they too will accept this challenge for such a great cause and we will continue to see this spread across the district!  Our students not only contributed to a great cause but also started the year off with a great sense of charity, community and school spirit!
